Here are some important dates and reminders for October:

*2nd  Quarter Enrichments-
Enrichment Opportunities are offered to all students, as young as age 2 to 8th grade, enrolled in the afternoon program (2:15-6:00pm).

Sessions are offered quarterly throughout the school year. 

Sign-ups are open now through October 13, 2017

2nd Quarter Enrichments will begin on Monday, October 23rd and run until Friday, December 22nd, Sessions are 8 weeks (No session during school closure 11/10 and during the week of Thanksgiving 11/20-11/25). All enrichment fees are due by 10/25/2017

 *Character Trait Awards- 
Character Trait Awards are given monthly to one student in each class who exceptionally demonstrates the trait for that month. They will be held on the back patio on the 1st Friday of the following month. Friday, 10/6 we will honor Kindness recipients for September’s Character Trait. October we will be working on Respect! 

*SOCK HOP 10/5 –  Let’s go to the Hop! How else would you celebrate National Chocolate Milk Shake Day? Student’s should come dressed in 50’s attire to enjoy the celebration.

*PICTURE DAY  – 
Thursday 10/12 – Preschool & Pre-K (Students should wear their daily black polo uniform. 
Friday 10/13 – Private Elementary (Dress Uniform) & Siblings
You do not have to sign-up. Every student will be photographed. 
A gallery will be posted online to purchase photographs 

* All Pro Dad  – Wednesday 10/11 @ :15am, https://allprodadsday.com/chapters/4799  > Please RSVP, Hope to see you there!

* Fall Festival  – This is one of our favorites!!! Our Fall Festival begins with a uniquely executed “Fashion show”! Each child walks the runway to show off their personality and costume! Parents are invited to join us Friday, 10/27  at 9am to enjoy the show.  Please no masks, weapons or scary costumes.

     Just as a reminder next Tuesday, Oct. 3rd from 5:15-6:00pm, we will have our second Parent Academy meeting of the year.  During this meeting our educational spotlight will be how to select a book on your child's level.  This meeting will provide you an opportunity to network with other families, go over upcoming events, and serves an opportunity to provide valuable feedback.

For Our Upcoming Chick Fil A Night we would love some volunteers to help with the organization and flow!   There is a few slots to sign up at the link below.  
Volunteering for this event will involve two tasks: 
-Manning the playground area
-Helping Bring Trays to the tables 

We appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you there!  

Students will get a chance to play and mingle with their classmates outside of school.  This will be a great event to meet new families and give back to our school!

Last month from your generous donations and a fun night out at BJ's we raised $139!  We thank you so much for coming out to support us and we are excited for our next fun family night! 
 
This month we will be having a Family Night at none other than Chick Fil A! Please join us Wednesday, September 20th between the hours of 4:00-7:00pm.  Dine in the restaurant or order in the drive-thru, just be sure to mention that the order goes towards Lutz Learning Center so that it is included in the total!  
 
All proceeds will go towards our Rising Star Scholarship!
